A Buddhist Perspective
On Death and Dying

May 9 & 10
With Visiting Teacher: Gen Kelsang Gomlam

Gen Gomlam, visiting teacher from Kadampa Meditation Center Florida, will present inspiring guidelines for helping us to live a happy and meaningful life, come to terms with our own death in a positive way and help others who are dying.

"We are alive, therefore we will die. "This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, yet very few of us have really come to terms with this fact. Through learning how to make the most of our human life, we prepare for death and can help others who are dying. In this way, instead of something to be feared or denied, death can become a positive and life-enhancing experience.

Gen Kelsang Gomlam, was a hospice nurse before she met Kadam Dharma. Her previous practical experiences together with the powerful teachings of Buddha create a light hearted environment to explore the most important knowledge we can develop which is what happens when we die?

Each session will include a teaching, guided meditation and a Q & A after class.

Everyone is welcome!
